Bukovo Monastery – Holy Transfiguration of Christ (Буковски Манастир) is located in a beautiful mountain area near the villages Bukovo and Krstoar in Bitola region.
Monastery St. Christopher in Krstoar village near Bitola is one of the more famous monasteries in this part of Republic of Macedonia.
The peak Pelister is a part of the mountain Baba, in southwest Macedonia. It is proclaimed as a National park in 1948, because of the rare national wealths in it: molika forests-reliquity from tercier flora, granite stones and their morphologic relief, especially glacial relief in the alpic part of the mountain.
On an area of 30 m2, as separate, adapted premises in the central part of the southern wing of the building, we can see the presentation of a townhouse room.
This presents the artistic decorations and decorations of the walls of the interior of Bitola's houses from the beginning of the XX c.

It comforts and heals, simply caresses. Only the faith in God, in Jesus Christ can give so much power.
Pelister National Park has undertaken to mark and maintain a hiking footpath that would enable all nature lovers and cultural heritage admirers to visit the churches and monasteries of the villages on the slopes of Mount Pelister.
